The Broken Pitcher Athens

Tracing the effects of financialisation and austerity, the collaborative project The Broken Pitcher by Natascha Sadr Haghighian, Marina Christodoulidou and Peter Eramian attends to a concrete case: A crucial meeting at a bank, negotiating the foreclosure of a family home in Larnaca, Cyprus, in 2019.

The Broken Pitcher-Athens, funded by the Greek Ministry of Culture, is scheduled to take place in February 2027 in collaboration with and hosted by Enterprise Projects.

Sustainable Financial Wellbeing in Arts (SFWA)

Α research project, bringing together Vahid of Counter InstituteTM (London), Monica De Ioanni (Artist, Edinburgh) and Constantina Georgiou (Among the Ants, Athens). SFWA grew from a shared interest in a simple but important question: how to create a practical model for thinking about production of arts where the financial considerations are not a hindrance but a guarantor of sustainable and uncompromising creativity to ensure freedom of expression.

Over the coming months, through online conversations, an in-person workshop, and a public event in Edinburgh, we’ll share experiences, exchange ideas, and look at the conditions that allow creative practices to have continuity and growth, both artistically and organisationally.

We are excited to begin this collaboration and grateful to the Four Nations International Fund for its support.
